On A Sick Day , Easy Meal All In A Pot ,

Season the ground pork with light soy sauce and salt and black pepper then add in the bacon and mix well then set aside

Wash a small cup of rice then add in 4 cups of water and let it comes to a boil (in a rice cooker or on stove)

Add in the (ground pork and bacon mixture)and stir well by breaking it into smaller pieces

Bring it to a boil then open slightly the lid and let it simmer for another 10 minutes

Season the porridge with another tbsp of light soy sauce and a dash of salt with black pepper,

Serve the pork and bacon porridge TOP some fresh scallion

I made Pork Porridge And Braised Peanut For Lunch, with 1 canned of ready to eat braised peanut and small red Chili pepper today, (optional) I too add pounded paste of each tbsp of garlic, shallot and ginger for a more flavourful pork porridge.
