Preheat oven to 300°F

Cut the top off the pears and remove the core leaving the bottom

Stuff each pear with 1 oz of cheese, and put the tops back on the pears

Cut puff pastry into 1/2 in strips and wrap around the pears

Press lightly to join strips together

Beat egg and brush a coat over each pastry

Bake pears for 30 min, then drizzle honey over each pear

Raise oven temp to 350°F and bake 15-20 min
