1 1/2 cupsflour
1/4 cupspeanut butter
1/2 cupsshortening
2 cupssugar
3eggs
1 1/2 teaspoonbaking powder
1 teaspoonsalt
1/2 cupsalted peanuts (optional)

Melt shortening and remove from heat

Add peanut butter.
Stir until melted

Add sugar and eggs.
Mix thoroughly.

Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well.

Spread into greased & floured oblong pan.
Or 2x8 inch pans.

Bake at 325°F (170°C) for 25-30 minutes
