Ingredients

30 mins
  • 1 1/2 cupsflour
  • 1/4 cupspeanut butter
  • 1/2 cupsshortening
  • 2 cupssugar
  • 3eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonbaking powder
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/2 cupsalted peanuts (optional)

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Melt shortening and remove from heat

  2. 2

    Add peanut butter.
    Stir until melted

  3. 3

    Add sugar and eggs.
    Mix thoroughly.

  4. 4

    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well.

  5. 5

    Spread into greased & floured oblong pan.
    Or 2x8 inch pans.

  6. 6

    Bake at 325°F (170°C) for 25-30 minutes
