Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupSuji/semolina
  • 2 cupMilk
  • 2 tbspClarified butter
  • 4 tbspSugar
  • 2 tbspCrushed almonds
  • For syrup
  • 1 cupSugar
  • 2 cupWater
  • 1 tspCardamom powder

Steps

60 mins
  1. 1

    Boil milk in heavy bottom vessel.

  2. 2

    Once boiled,keep it in the low flame. and one cup sugar and cook till sugar dissolves.

  3. 3

    Add clarified butter,sugar and semolina/suji and mix well.

  4. 4

    Make a soft dough.

  5. 5

    Divide the dough into equal size balls.

  6. 6

    Roll these balls in between your palm to get the shape of rasgulla

  7. 7

    Place the crushed almonds in semolina/suji ball and close the stuffing nicely

  8. 8

    Apply clarified butter on hand.

  9. 9

    Take a pan add two cup of water and cook till sugar dissolves.

  10. 10

    Now add suji/semolina ball in the sugar syrup and cook five mins in low flame.

  11. 11

    Add cardamom powder and mix well.

  12. 12

    The suji/semolina rasgulla should be floating on the syrup and it's size should be double.
