Ingredients

  1. 500 gmBoneless chicken
  2. 2 cupsChopped Bell peppers-red, yellow and green
  3. 1chopped onion
  4. 2 tablespoonsDark Soy sauce
  5. 1 tablespoonred hot chilli sauce
  6. 1 tablespoonhoisin sauce (optional)
  7. 1 tablespoontomato sauce
  8. 1 teaspooncornflour
  9. 1egg
  10. 2 tablespoonginger garlic paste
  11. to tastePepper powder
  12. 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  13. to tasteSalt
  14. 2 teaspoonsVinegar
  15. White oil
  16. Ajinomoto or Chinese Stir Fry spice
  17. Chopped spring onions for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Make batter with 1 egg, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon cornflour,. 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon vinegar, pepper powder and salt

    Coat the chicken pieces in the batter and deep fry them till golden brown

    Add 1 tablespoon of oil in a super hot wok.

    Add 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste.

    Add the chopped onions and bell peppers.

  6. 6

    Fry for 2 mins until the onions become transparent in high flame

  7. 7

    Add the fried chicken and fry for 1 more minute

    Make a mixture of the 4 sauces with a little water.

  9. 9

    Reduce the flame and add the mixture.

  10. 10

    Fry well for 2 mins while coating the mixture well with the chicken.

    Add 1 teaspoon of vinegar only if it's not sour

    Dilute half a teaspoon of cornflour in water (add more if your gravy is too watery) and add it to the mixture.

    Stir frequently in high flame until the thick consistency is reached.

    Turn off the stove and add some ajinomoto or Chinese stir fry spice from top.

    Garnish with chopped spring onions.

  16. 16

    Serve hot with fried rice.
