Ingredients

5-7 minutes
5servings
  • 4Potatoes boiled leftover
  • as neededShredded lattuce leftover
  • 50 gmCheese
  • 1Onion grated
  • 1/2 cupBoiled sweet corns
  • 1/2 tspOrgano or mixed herbs
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/4 tspRed chilli flakes
  • 1/4 tspCumin
  • 3-4 slicesBread crumbs of
  • 2-3 tspRefined flour
  • 1 tspCorn flour mixture
  • For making traffic lights -
  • 1Tomato sauce slice thick
  • 1Cucumber slice slice thick
  • 1Lemon slice thick
  • as requiredTomato powder
  • sticksIce cream
  • Skewer and tooth pricks
  • Fortune oil for frying

Steps

5-7 minutes
  1. 1

    First of all peel and mash the leftover boiled potatoes and mix grated cheese, grated onion, sweet corn,bread crumbs &spices along with salt and a tsp of oil..make the mixture like a dough consistency

    Make a pouring batter with corn flour and water in it, put a little bit of salt and organo in this batter

  3. 3

    Put the dough on a cling film and cover with another piece of cling wrap and flatten with a rolling pin to make a one inch thick sheet, cut the dough sheet into strips and insert an ice cream stick in the thick rectangular strips

    Cut 1-1piece of tomato slice, cucumber slice and lemon slice in pantagon shape to make red -Green -yellow 🚥 traffic lights

  5. 5

    Put the long rectangular thick strips one by one in corn flour batter then roll in bread crumbs mixture and keep in fridge for at least one hour to set (u can store these sticks in deep freezer for 2-3days by putting them in a zip lock bag)

  6. 6

    Heat oil in a skillet and put the ice cream sticks (with veggies) one by one (carefully and't to put the ice cream stick in oil, only potato-cheese Popsicle do fry) and fry on medium heat until golden brown

  7. 7

    Put out of oil and spread on a paper towel to absorb the access oil

  8. 8

    Sprinkle a pinch of tomato powder over fried popsicles to bang the flavours

    Serve hot
