Ingredients

  1. besan batter:
  2. 1 cupbesan/ chickpea flour
  3. 1 tbspmaida/flour
  4. 150 mlwater
  5. 1 pinchzafrani rang/orange colour
  6. 1 tspsalt
  7. 1/4 tsppepper
  8. 1/4 tspchilli powder
  9. 1/4 tspcumin powder
  10. 1 tspgarlic paste
  11. For Aloo Tikki:
  12. 3 potatoes boiled
  13. 1/2 tspsalt
  14. 1/4 tsppepper
  15. 1/2 tspEverest chat masala
  16. 1/2 tspEverest dry mango powder
  17. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  18. 1 tspsecret spice(check telebhaja post 1)
  19. 1 tbspchopped coriander
  20. 1green chilli chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    Besan batter: mix all the ingredients of the batter together in a bowl and make a smooth flowing batter. keep aside

    Mash boiled potatoes. mix all the spices and make small tikkis.

    Coat these alu tikkis in the besan batter and deep fry till golden. serve hot with muri.
