Ingredients

  • besan batter:
  • 1 cupbesan/ chickpea flour
  • 1 tbspmaida/flour
  • 150 mlwater
  • 1 pinchzafrani rang/orange colour
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/4 tsppepper
  • 1/4 tspchilli powder
  • 1/4 tspcumin powder
  • 1 tspgarlic paste
  • For Aloo Tikki:
  • 3 potatoes boiled
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/4 tsppepper
  • 1/2 tspEverest chat masala
  • 1/2 tspEverest dry mango powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1 tspsecret spice(check telebhaja post 1)
  • 1 tbspchopped coriander
  • 1green chilli chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    Besan batter: mix all the ingredients of the batter together in a bowl and make a smooth flowing batter. keep aside

    Mash boiled potatoes. mix all the spices and make small tikkis.

    Coat these alu tikkis in the besan batter and deep fry till golden. serve hot with muri.
