Ingredients

45-50 mnts
3 servings
  1. 500mutton
  2. 2-3Potatoes cut into halves
  3. 200 gmonion
  4. 1 tspginger paste
  5. 1.5 tspgarlic paste
  6. 1 tspred chilli Powder
  7. 1 tspcumin powder
  8. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  9. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  10. 1 handfulwhole garam masala
  11. 1 tspcumin seed
  12. 1bay leaf
  13. 1red chilli whole
  14. To tastesalt and sugar
  15. As neededoil and ghee
  16. As neededwarm water
  17. 1/2 cuphung curd

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate the mutton with onion,ginger garlic paste,red chilli Powder,curd and oil(mustard)

  2. 2

    Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf red chilli whole and whole garam masala

  3. 3

    Add Onions and saute well

  4. 4

    Add Potatoes and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  5. 5

    Add ginger garlic paste and saute well

  6. 6

    Add the marinated mutton stir well and cover

  7. 7

    Add red chilli powder and mix well

  8. 8

    Add cumin coriander powder and mix well till oil releases

  9. 9

    Now add water and cover

  10. 10

    Simmer until the mutton gets soft and juicy

  11. 11

    Finally add ghee and garam masala powder

  12. 12

    Serve it with rice or chapati
