Ingredients

  1. 1large box of raisins
  2. 3 cupswater
  3. 3 tablespoonscornstarch
  4. 3/4 cupgranulated sugar
  5. 3 tablespoonsvinegar
  6. 1 teaspoon5 spice
  7. 1pie crust (unbaked)

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil raisins in 2 cups of water.

  2. 2

    Add cornstarch to 1 cup of water and stir together. Add to raisin/water mix.

  3. 3

    Stir in sugar, vinegar, and 5 spice.

  4. 4

    Cook till bubbling.

  5. 5

    Pour filling into crust and add the top of the pie. Slash crust for ventilation.

  6. 6

    Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
