Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupRice
  2. 1/2 cupMoong dal
  3. 4 cupswater
  4. 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1 tsppepper powder
  6. leavesCurry
  7. 1-2Chillies
  8. Pinchhing
  9. 1 tspcumin seeds
  10. 1 tsppepper powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash the moong dal and rice.

  2. 2

    Take a pressure cooker and add ghee.

  3. 3

    Now add washed rice and moong dal and saute for a minute.

  4. 4

    Now pour 4cups of water and turn off the stove after 5 whistles.

  5. 5

    Take a pan and pour ghee and add cumin seeds,pepper powder,curry leaves and chillies and hing.

  6. 6

    Now add the tempering to the cooked rice, moong dal and mix well.
