makes 30 or more

1/2 cupsifted flour
1 tablespoonsugar
1 1/2 cupscorn meal
1egg
2 teaspoonsbaking powder
1/2 teaspoonsalt
1small finely chopped onion
3/4 cupmilk

Mix all ingredients well and drop by teaspoonful into hot oil. (375 degrees) Fry until brown.
