Fried sukuma
A combination of flavors that will have you going for seconds
Steps
- 1
Fry the onions until they are caramelised.
- 2
Add the grated carrots and stir. I prefer adding curry powder at the initial stages of cooking so i add it at this point. Keep stiring so that the food does not burn.
- 3
Mix in the green pepper in and crumble the royco cubes onto the food. Let it cook for around 3 minutes before adding in the greens (plus dhania).
- 4
Cook the food in accordance to your preference. Some people like their greens crunchy while others prefer well cooked greens.
- 5
Enjoy with a meal of your choice.
- 6
Tip, if you have soy sauce you can replace the royco cubes with it. It leaves everyone wondering why your greens taste different
