Firstly boil the Chana dal till chana dal turns soft yet retain their shape.

Drain off the water and keep aside for 30 mins.

Transfer the cooked Chana dal into a blender and grind to a fine powder

Now add all dry spices in it and mix well

Now make a dough from wheat flour

Now take a ball size dough roll it in circle of about 5 inch in diameter

Place the stuffing in centre..Take the edge and start pleating bringing to centre..

Sprinkle some wheat flour and roll it lightly thick

On hot tawa place the parathas and cook both sides brushing oil.

Serve with any gravy or raita.
