Ingredients

  1. 150 gsalted butter - softened
  2. 80 glight brown sugar
  3. 80 ggranulated sugar
  4. 1large egg
  5. 2 tspvanilla extract
  6. 225 gplain flour
  7. 1/2 tspbicarbonate of soda
  8. 1/4salt
  9. 275 gmilk chocolate chips

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the oven to 190C/fan170C/gas 5 and line two baking trays with non-stick baking paper.

    Put 150g softened salted butter, 80g light brown sugar and 80g granulated sugar into a bowl and beat until creamy.

    Beat in 2 tsp vanilla extract and 1 large egg.

    Sift 225g plain flour, ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda and ¼ tsp salt into the bowl and mix it in with a spatula

    Add 275g milk chocolate chips and stir well.

  6. 6

    Use 1 tbsp measuring spoon to place the mixture on the tray making sure you space them swell apart. This mixture should make about 30 cookies.

    Bake for 13 mins until they are light brown on the edges and still slightly soft in the centre if you press them.

    Leave on the tray for a couple of mins and then leave on the baking paper until cool

    Get a nice glass of cold milk and enjoy!
