Steps

Cut the coconut in small pieces and grate them in a mixture grinder.

Now heat milk in a kadhai and evaporate it, when it turns into a thick consistency add grated coconut. After 5 minutes add sugar. The mixture will again turn into thin consistency. Keep on stirring and cooking until the mixture becomes dry and turn off the gas.

Now add cardamom seeds or powder into the above mixture.

Then make small lemon sized balls out of the mixture and elongate the end into a point end.

Make lines with the help of knife on it's body so, that it looks like modak or you can use modak moulds.

Transfer it on a plate and serve these delicious modaks.
