1 cupChilkewali Moong Dal
1 cupyellow Moong dal
2 tbspginger green chillies paste
1 pinchAsafoetida
To tasteSalt
2 tbspbutter or oil

Steps

Soak the Chilkewali Moong Dal overnight or 6-8 hrs.

Grind it and keep for fermentation.Now

Now grease one plate with butter or oil, and put the batter in idli moulds and steam for 15 mins.

Serve with coriander chutney
