Ingredients

  1. 1 cuppartially roasted groundnuts
  2. 4potatoes peeled and grated
  3. 2carrots peeled and grated
  4. 2medium sized onions finely chopped
  5. 2 cupsall purpose flour
  6. 2 cupsGaram flour
  7. 1-2 cupscold water (for mixing)
  8. 1/2 teaspoonchilli/ black pepper optional
  9. HandfulDhania leaves
  10. Mint leaves / 1/2 teaspoon mint essence
  11. 2Eggs
  12. 1 tablespoonbaking powder
  13. Oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a saucepan pan

  2. 2

    In one bowl mix the Garam flour, All purpose flour, salt, black pepper, baking powder and add eggs and water to form thick paste

  3. 3

    Add in all other ingredients except groundnuts and mix well. Once well mixed, add in groundnuts and mix gently

  4. 4

    Scoop with a tablespoon and gently drop into your hot oil

  5. 5

    Deep fry till ready

  6. 6

    Once ready, set aside and serve with sauce and salad of choice
