Soak dal for half an hour. Then pressure cook.

Heat ghee add jeera, garlic, green chillies, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon stick and bay leaves and hing. Saute for 2 mins.

Now add onions, grated ginger and cook for sometime.

Add all the dry masalas, salt and bring to a boil.

Now remove in serving bowl and again heat ghee, season it with red chilli powder and curry leaves.

Spread it over the dal.

Garnish with Brown fried onions, kasuri methi powder, coriander leaves with the tomatoe rose in the centre.
