Moong Dal ka halwa

Clean and soak the dal for overnight

Grind it into a thick batter. Do not use water while grinding

Heat a pan and add white oil and ghee. Add cardamoms and crushed nutmeg into it
- 4
Add the grinded moong dal and a pinch of salt and mix well. Keep mixing and ensure that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan

After mixing for 10-15 mins add the khowa into it and mix well
- 6
Prepare sugar syrup separately and add some crushed cardamom powder and saffron into it
- 7
Add the syrup into the moong dal mixture and mix till it dries up and has halwa consistency
- 8
Remove and garnish with cashews, almonds and kishmish
