Ingredients

45-50 mnts
3 servings
  • 3 cupsDehradun basmati rice
  • 300 gm paneer
  • 2 cupall purpose flour
  • 1 cupchana daal boiled
  • 1 tspginger paste
  • 1 tbspcoriander cumin powder
  • 1 cuptomato puree
  • 1 tbspcashew-raisins paste
  • 1 tsppoppy seeds paste
  • 1 tspred chilli Powder
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1 tspcumin seed
  • 2bay leaves
  • 2red chilli whole
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil and ghee

Steps

    To prepare pullav at first heat oil and shallow fry the paneer

  2. 2

    Add rice ghee and garam masala powder

  3. 3

    Add sugar and salt and water

  4. 4

    Cover it till it is soft,keep aside

  5. 5

    Now knead a soft dough with flour salt,sugar,oil and water

  6. 6

    Heat oil in a pan add cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

  7. 7

    Add ginger paste and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  8. 8

    Add tomato puree and red chilli Powder and mix well

  9. 9

    Add poppy seeds paste and cashew-raisins paste

  10. 10

    Add paneer and mix well adding water and simmer

  11. 11

    Add sugar and garam masala powder and switch off

  12. 12

    Now in the pan add oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

  13. 13

    Add ginger paste and saute well

  14. 14

    Add cumin coriander powder and tomato puree and red chilli Powder

  15. 15

    Saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

  16. 16

    Pour the boiled daal and mix well

  17. 17

    Add sugar and garam masala powder and simmer

  18. 18

    Switch off and keep aside
