Boiled Snake Gourd with Sesame Salt Dip

Peel and wash the snake gourd, then cut it into diagonal slices. Boil water and add a little sugar and salt to help maintain the green color. Add the snake gourd and cook until done (about 4 minutes). Do not overcook to preserve the vitamins and crispness. Drain well.
