Ingredients

  • 250 gmshare tur dana (green arhar lentil)
  • 250 gmspurple yam/kandh
  • 2 tbspcrushed garlic
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tspdhaniya jeera powder
  • Salt
  • 1 tsphing
  • Oil
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean the tur dane. Chop the purple yam. Wash the veggies.

  2. 2

    Heat oil, add crushed garlic, hing.Saute for few seconds. Add all the dry masalas, salt. Add the chopped veggies.

  3. 3

    Add little water. Cover and cook on slow flame. When done remove from heat and transfer in serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
