"Healthy" Instant Noodle

Yesterday it was raining from early morning until nearly afternoon so I needed something warm and hearty. It is not good to eat instant noodle that often, but I can't help it. So to reduce the guilty pleasure, I added many vegetables and it was good.

One thing is, Indomie (Indonesia's one famous instant noodle brand) is the best instant noodle in the whole world!

Anyway, have a try!

Ingredients

10 minutes
1 serving
  1. 1 packageyour fav instant noodle (I used Indomie Ayam Bawang
  2. 1tomato, cut into quarters
  3. 1/4of onion, slice
  4. 2garlics, slice
  5. 1handfu of cabbage, slice
  6. 4-5mustards green leaves or bok choy
  7. 1 stalkgreen onions, chopped
  8. 2 slicessmoked beef (or you can use fish balls or beef balls
  9. 1egg
  10. Some water
  11. Oil for stir frying
  12. Non MSG Granulated mushroom bouillon (optional)
  13. Salt (optional)
  14. Pepper (optional)
  15. 2birdeye chillies

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat the oil in a pan. Add in the garlics, oinions and green onions. Fry until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Add in the smooked beef. Cook until tender.

  3. 3

    Add in the veggies. Cook until they are soft enough.

  4. 4

    Add in the water. Let it boil a bit. Add in the noodle and the seasonings that come along with the package if you want. If not then season it using your own seasonings.

  5. 5

    Stir to combine. Then add the egg. Let it hardened, or if you want, you can stir it so it blends with the broth.

  6. 6

    Add the chillies. Then remove from the heat. Serve.
