I was in the mood for something spicy and full of flavor. Gochujang paste is a wonderful spice with flavor and spice, one of my favorites. I served this with rice.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Slice the pork very thinly best to slice mostly frozen. Put into a ziploc bag. Leave this in the refrigerator till it's completely defrosted.
- 2
Add the salt and pepper.
- 3
Add the gochujang paste and coat each piece of meat.
- 4
Add to a ziploc bag.
- 5
Open the radishes and take out the envelopes. See if they are julienne or sliced into medallions. If medallions slice into julienne style.
- 6
Get all the air out of the bag as possible
- 7
Let this marinate for a day and overnight in the refrigerator. I did mine for 2 days.
- 8
Cook the rice as you like. You can also see any of my recipes or follow instructions on the package. I added a cup of English peas.
- 9
These are the type of radishes I used.
- 10
Rinse the pickled mustard greens very well. Discard the liquids in the package.
- 11
Slice the carrots, and celery on a bias. Finely slice the onion, and garlic cloves.
- 12
Now vegetables are ready. Set them aside.
- 13
Slice the bacon and lay flat in a pan and start to heat. This will allow more even rendering of the fat.
- 14
Heat a skillet add the regular pork and sear this won't take long at all the pork is so thin. Set aside.
- 15
When almost done looking like this in picture this is the way you want it.
- 16
Add the vegetables to the pan with the bacon drippings and bacon. Cover and simmer till the carrots are where you like them in doneness.
- 17
Add cornstarch to the vegetables.
- 18
Stir till you don't see the cornstarch.
- 19
Add the broth and stir.
- 20
Now mix the second tablespoon of cornstarch and water pour into the vegetables. When thickened set aside.
- 21
Now do the gochujang pork on the hot pan.
- 22
Turn as needed.
- 23
You may need to scrape the pan.
- 24
Do in batches till done.
- 25
Divide the vegetables serve half with the gochujang pork and half with the regular pork.
- 26
Serve with the rice I hope you enjoy!!!

Pork and Gochujang Stir-Fry Pork and Gochujang Stir-Fry
I can't get enough of spicy food.-Use whatever cut of meat that you like. I think meat that has a bit of fat tastes delicious.-This burns easily, so cook it slowly over a medium heat.-Using a plastic bag in step 2 reduces the amount of dishes and makes things easier.-It will hold for 2~3 days in the state of Step 3. New Potatoes and Pork Belly Simmered with Gochujang New Potatoes and Pork Belly Simmered with Gochujang
I wanted to make a rich tasting dish using new potatoes. This is also good with chicken instead of pork belly.Since a lot of fat will come out of the pork belly, there's no need to add oil. In addition, be sure to remove any excess fat with kitchen paper towels.Use a piece of kitchen paper as a lid on top of the simmering ingredients just like a drop lid (otoshibuta). This makes it easier for the flavors to penetrate. The amount of seasonings are approximate, so please adjust to taste. Recipe by Mikikoshi cookpad.japan -
