Ingredients

  • for shrimp balls :
  • 150 grgrounded shrimp
  • 50 grshrimp, minced
  • 50 grtapioca starch
  • 2 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 1large white egg
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspsugar
  • for the soup :
  • /- 1 L shrimp stock (water from boiling shrimp)
  • 1 clovegarlic, mash
  • 1 1/2 tbspfish sauce
  • 1 tspchicken stock powder
  • 1/2 tspsugar
  • additional ingredients :
  • green onion
  • deep fried shallot

Steps

  1. 1

    Make shrimp balls : combine all ingredients until smooth and mix well

  2. 2

    Boil +/- 1 L shrimp stock water then turn of the heat. Take about 1tsp dough and make ball shape using two spoons then put into the water. Turn on the heat on low level. Cook the shrimp ball until fully cooked. Lift and drain

  3. 3

    Make the soup and serve the shrimp balls with soup and additional ingredients. enjoy!
