Brad's feta stuffed Greek meatballs

Ingredients

  1. For the meatballs
  2. 3 lbs80/20 ground beef
  3. 1/2 cupchopped cilantro
  4. 2 tbscavenders Greek seasoning
  5. 1 tsporegano
  6. 1 tbsgarlic powder
  7. 2 tspwhite wine vinegar
  8. 1 tspsalt
  9. 1 tspwhite pepper
  10. 1 tbsgranulated chicken bouillon
  11. 1 cupplain bread crumbs
  12. 2eggs
  13. Filling
  14. 6 ozfeta cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Combine all the meatball ingredients in a lg bowl. Let sit in the fridge for around an hour.

    Remove meat mixture. Depending on the size you want your meatballs, take portions and Form into patties in your hand. Place feta cheese on patty and reform ball around it. Press well with your hands to seal. If you keep your hands wet the meat won't stick to them.

    Heat a lg frying pan on medium high heat. Add 1 tbs oil. Fry meatballs until browned well on all sides.

    I served over cous cous with herbs and toasted pine nuts. Enjoy.

cooking is a passion of mine. I started when I was very young and I had to drag a milk crate around to see over the counter. taught by a career cook (my grandmother ). I have always tried to push the boundaries of conventional cooking. I prefer cooking wild game. when I can get my hands on it, but fish is more readily available for me. I raise and butcher most of the livestock that I use for my conventional recipes. I hope everyone can find a few recipes they like in my list.
