Mung Bean Cakes Mung Bean Cakes
Mid-Autumn Festival is almost here. It's time for Mooncakes!! Instead of making traditional mooncakes, this low-sugar and low-fat mung bean cake is simple, delicious and healthy. Although the appearance doesn't like as good as the one bought from the store, the flavor is excellent! It is worth to try.Note:* On step 2, you may also use stove top to cook mung beans: Place 1 cup beans in a large pot with 3 cups water and 1 tsp salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until tender, about 30 minutes; drain well. Note-a-licious -

Sweet Potato Cakes Sweet Potato Cakes
I wanted to make something quick that I already had the ingredients for whilst my son was napping one day and thought of sweet potato cakes. Whilst this cake is nice and smooth, the best thing about it is it's delicious natural sweet potato taste.-Make sure to mix in the butter and sugar whilst the potato is still hot.-Feel free to adjust the sweetness of this dish.-If you don't have a pastry brush, you can drizzle the egg yolks over and then use the back of the spoon to spread it instead. Sugar Cooky Cakes Sugar Cooky Cakes
Another ancient recipe from my Cajun side. My grandmother made her cookies and a sweet pie dough from this recipe. The pie made with this dough has a custard filling. It makes a 2 crust pie. But today, It’s a roll out cooky. They spelled it ‘cooky’ so I will too. It’s a basic recipe for sugar cookies, but add ins are endless. In this batch I added chocolate chips. They’re more like little sugar cooky cakes. Absolutely heavenly. The key to these turning out is to keep the dough ice cold. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -
Mini Sushi Cakes Mini Sushi Cakes
I came up with this after thinking about a nice and colorful menu for the Hinamatsuri Girl's Day Festival. It's easier to remove the sushi from the mold if you lay a sheet of plastic wrap before packing the rice inside. The bottom layer in the pudding cup will become to top when the sushi is served. Recipe by ayukoro cookpad.japan -

Tea Cakes Tea Cakes
I received this recipe years ago from an elderly lady (98 years old) of 12 children. She had 4 sets of twins. She was a gentle soul and loved to cook and feed people. I met her at a birthday party for one of her great grands, we got to talking about baking and I told her about a cookie that my great granny used to make, but no one knew the recipe. A few days later, she sent her daughter to deliver THE COOKIE recipe, she called them TEA CAKES. This is my go-to recipe for rollout cookies. It makes ALOT! #ChristmasGift Sonya Bankester
