Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg sarso leaves
  • 200 GMspinach leaves
  • 200 GMbathua leaves
  • 200 GMmethi leaves
  • 50 GMgarlic paste
  • 3medium onions chopped
  • 10-15Green chillies
  • 1 inchGinger
  • 3medium tomatoes puree
  • Masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chilli powder
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • to tasteBlack pepper powder
  • Pinchaseftoedia
  • 2-4whole red chilli
  • I tbsp makki ka aata
  • Ghee for tadka

Steps

  1. 1

    First wash the leaves well. Then chopped it.

  2. 2

    In a pressure cooker.. Add all the leaves with garlic, ginger, and chillies. With salt. Cook for five whistle on low flame.

  3. 3

    When saag cooked, make a tadka.meanwhile smooth the saag with the of help of ladle. Or blend in a mixer. Add makki ka atta too for shinning.

  4. 4

    In a kadhai, add ghee when ghee heats add hing, whole red chilli.allow to crackle.

  5. 5

    Add onions saute till golden. Add all the masala, sauté till masala loose oil. Now add 🍅 puree into it.

  6. 6

    Again saute till masala separates the oil. Now add mashed Saag into it cook for 15 to 20 min.

  7. 7

    Saag is ready. Enjoy with makki ki roti.
