Ingredients

  • 250 gmmuli cut length wise
  • 300 gmdeshi tomatoes chopped
  • 30 gmJaggery (Gud)
  • 1/2 tspTamarind (Imli) Pulp
  • 2 tbspgrated Coconut
  • 1 tspGinger chopped
  • 1green chilli chopped
  • 1dry red chilli
  • 1/3 tsppanch Phutan
  • 1/3 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspfried zeera powder
  • 6-7Curry leaves
  • 1 tspdesi ghee
  • 1 pinchHing powder
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Pressure cook chopped muli + turmeric + salt for half whistle and tomatoes + gud+ grated coconut, for 4 whistles.

    In a kadai heat ghee and add hing, dried red chilli and panch phutan. Let it splutter.

    Now add green chilli, curry leaves and chopped ginger. Fry in low medium flames for half min.

  4. 4

    Mix boiled muli and tomatoes adding to the kadai. Add imli pulp, cover and boil for 3 minutes.

    Switch off the flame and add fried zeera powder and mix well. Serve hot.
