I wanted to commemorate the visit to Japan by South Korean President Lee Myung-bak with something that I thought he might have liked when he used to be a regular salaryman.The ketchup and mayonnaise make this sandwich tasty enough, so you can skip the margarine if you like. I put some cheese in, but the sandwich is also great with tuna or ham. You can also just add some raw shredded vegetables instead of mixing them in. I think this sandwich is more authentic if you use a regular inexpensive sliced sandwich bread rather than a fancy expensive one.So many people have made their own delicious variations.
