With overripe straw berries, and a cake to bake, I tried this out and it was awesome!

Preheat oven to 180°c.

Prepare tin by greasing and dusting with flour.

Assemble all the ingredients and chop the strawberries.

In a bowl, beat the sugar and Margarine until pale and fluffy.
- 5
Add in the eggs and beat well, one at a time. Add the essence as well. Remember to scrape the sides of the bowl.

Fold in the flour and alternate with milk until smooth.

Fold in the strawberries.

Pour batter into prepared tin
- 9
Bake in preheated oven until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
