Steps

Wash chiku and remove skin and pips and
Mash it with a masher.
In a pan add ghee and sauté chiku until it is soften on low flame for about 7 to 8 minutes. Add sugar and cook for 5 minutes in slow flame. Add nuts and milk powder and mix and cook for about couple if minutes. Add saffron and cardamom powder and mix well and transfer in a greased plate. Enjoy halwa while warm with ice-cream or on its own. - 2
