These Sugar Cookies are buttery, lightly sweet, and perfectly soft with crisp edges. Great for any occasion, they’re easy to make and fun to decorate. Enjoy them as a simple treat or get creative with icing and toppings!

A great base recipe for chewy sugar cookie deliciousness! Great as a base for Oreo sugar cookies, or other morsel additions! Not ideal for decorated sugar cookies, as the batter doesn’t hold the same!

I forgot to take pictures of cookies. But here's cookie cutter. Made to look like dog biscuits. Niece dressed as Scooby-Doo for Halloween for work took Scooby-Doo snacks;)

Every year around Christmas season with my family, we decorate these cookies. You'll get sick of decorating them by nights end because the recipe yields about 6 dozen! But they're really good cookies if I say so myself!! Thanks to my photographer hubby Mike to always make a nice picture out of something so simple!
