This is a unique way of using up leftover dal sitting in the fridge and no one likes to have the same dal again and again.So process the dal by adding some masalas or grated winter veggies like raddish or carrots or greens like spinach and methi and add it to your dough to get a healthy and tasty breakfast.

This is a unique way of using up leftover dal sitting in the fridge and no one likes to have the same dal again and again.So process the dal by adding some masalas or grated winter veggies like raddish or carrots or greens like spinach and methi and add it to your dough to get a healthy and tasty breakfast.

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.Sprinkle ajwain and hing. When it splutters,add chopped spinach.Any other finely grated winter veggies may be added.Toss for sometime.Then add the dal and dry it up as much as possible.Add garam masala and chopped green chillies.

Knead a dough with flour,wheat flour and gram flour by adding little water, the dal mixture, 1 tbsp oil,chopped coriander and kasoori methi. Divide into balls.Smear little oil to the balls and roll out into rounds like any flat bread.

Heat a nonstick frying pan and fry all parathas one by one with little oil.Serve hot with curd or mixed pickle.
