Ingredients

  1. 11/2 cupboiled rice
  2. 1 cupblanched peas
  3. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  4. 1 tspblack pepper powder
  5. 4-5cloves
  6. 1 tbspoil
  7. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  8. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the oil in a kadhai. Put the cumin seeds, asafoetida and clove. When the cumin seeds get light brown.

  2. 2

    Add blanched peas in it, saute it for few minutes. Add salt and black pepper in it, saute it for one minute. Now add boiled rice in it and mix it well.

  3. 3

    Serve it with raita or curd.
