Ingredients

45mins to 1hr
4 banana bread
  1. 800 gall purpose flour
  2. 150 gbutter/margarine
  3. 150 gvegetable oil
  4. 300 mlsour milk
  5. 50 gsugar(add to your preference)
  6. 8medium sized bananas(over ripe)
  7. 4eggs
  8. 12 gbaking powder
  9. 3 gbaking soda
  10. 1/4 tspnutmeg
  11. 1 tspcinnamon
  12. 1/4 tspcloves
  13. 1/8 tspcardamon
  14. 1/8 tspsalt
  15. Dropsvanilla essence

Steps

45mins to 1hr
  1. 1

    Preheat your oven to 180• and line your 4 400g loaf tin.

  2. 2

    Sift together the dry ingredients.

  3. 3

    Using a fork, mash the ripe bananas.

  4. 4

    Cream together butter and sugar.

  5. 5

    Add the oil and beat until well combined.

  6. 6

    Add the vanilla essence and eggs one a tine as you beat.

  7. 7

    Followed by mashed bananas and sour milk...

  8. 8

    Pour in the flour and fold until well combined.

  9. 9

    Pour in your lined loaf tin and bake for 45mins to 1hr or until a skewer inserted at the middle comes out clean.

  10. 10

    Wrap in a clean film.
