Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly with a whisker

Break your egg into the bowl,pour in your butter milk and oil and mix very well

Pour in the hot water(not boiling water but it should be hot) and mix gently

The consistency of your batter should be a little bit runny(not too thick).such that when you raise your your spatula or whisker,the batter runs down immediately

Lastly,pour your mixture into a baking pan and bake at low heat

For the frosting, u mix butter,icing sugar and milk with a mixer
