Ingredients

30 minutes
Serves 4 servings
  • 14 ouncesreginella pasta (about 400 grams)
  • 1small bottle tomato sauce
  • 1small can tomato paste
  • 2 handfulsraisins and pine nuts
  • Halfa small jar anchovies in oil
  • 2garlic cloves
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Salt

Steps

30 minutes

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil for the pasta and start preparing the sauce.

  2. 2

    In a skillet, sauté the garlic in olive oil. Add the anchovies with a little of their oil and let them melt. Stir in the tomato sauce and tomato paste. Add a little water and let it cook.

  3. 3

    Add the raisins and pine nuts, then turn off the heat and set aside while the pasta cooks. Meanwhile, in a small pan, heat a little oil with the breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt, toasting until golden.

  4. 4

    Drain the pasta, toss it in the sauce in the skillet, and plate. Sprinkle with the toasted breadcrumbs and serve hot.

    Enjoy! This dish is a family tradition—my daughter's drawing for Father's Day and a memory from my wedding day.
