I've heard that black garlic is very good for health. Just 3 cloves a day is enough. So I made some. It's delicious, with a chewy texture and a slightly sweet and sour taste, without any garlic smell at all. I think this dish will be a daily staple in my family from now on.

Peel off some of the outer layers of the garlic.

Pour beer over the garlic in a bowl and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then, drain the garlic or pat it dry with a towel.

Arrange the garlic in layers on a tray in the pot. If using a rice cooker, wrap the garlic in aluminum foil, place it in the rice cooker, plug it in, and set it to the 'Warm' mode. After 15 days, you'll have the finished product.

If using a garlic fermenter, arrange the garlic on a tray, place it in the pot, and plug it in. Set the timer for 300 hours, which is about 15 days. It's very simple to make and great for the family, so let's make it together.
