Ingredients

  1. 1 &1/2Kg jackfruit
  2. 1 tablespoongaram masala for tadka / tempering
  3. 1 &1/2cup onion, tomato, ginger, garlic masala mix
  4. 1 tablespoongaram masala powder
  5. 1 tablespoondry roasted jeera dhania black pepper powder
  6. 2 teaspoonskashmir red chilli powder
  7. 1 teaspoonmango powder
  8. 2bay leaves
  9. 1 &1/2cups besan / gram flour
  10. pinchhing powder / asafoetida
  11. As neededoil
  12. 1 tablespoonghee
  13. As neededsalt
  14. As neededwater
  15. 1&1/2 teaspoons termaric powder
  16. 2 teaspoonsred chilli powder
  17. 2small onion slices
  18. 1 teaspoonkasuri methi
  19. 1 teaspoonhoney

Steps

  1. 1

    First cut jack fruit remove the middle part of strong bone of jack fruit, cut small pieces then put in the pressure cooker with required water and little salt

    Give two whistles then when bubbles go out naturally open the pressure cooker. when it will be cool smashed the jack fruit.

    Next put besan in jack fruit, add the mango powder, salt, half teaspoon termaric powder one teaspoon kashmir red chilli powder, add the little garam masala powder add the onion slices mix all ingredients with the help of the palms

    Now heat the pan put little bit of oil when it is heated add the jack fruit mix it well give it a stir for few minutes when it is thickened add the mix in the plate make small balls and keep aside.

    Now put another pan in the oven put oil fry all jack fruit balls for making kofta.

  6. 6

    Now put ghee in the same pan add the bay leaves, garam masala, and the hing powder and stir.

  7. 7

    Now add the onion tomato masala keep stirring add the termaric powder and red chilli powder mix well keep a stir

  8. 8

    When oil comes out from the gravy add the jeera dhania powder, garam masala powder give it a well mix

  9. 9

    Next add the kashmir red chilli powder, mango powder, kasuri methi mix well add the honey

  10. 10

    Add required water mix well boil in high flame of the oven for few minutes then low the flame of the oven

  11. 11

    Now gravy is ready. Pour it in the copta. Delicious jack fruit copta curry is ready for serving
