Ingredients

  1. 1 cupSemolina (Rava)
  2. 3-4 tspChia Seeds
  3. 8-10Curry Leaves
  4. 1-2Tomato chopped
  5. 2Garlic Cloves chopped
  6. 1 tspBlack-gram Spited (Urad Daal)
  7. 1Onion chopped
  8. 1Green Chilli Chopped
  9. 1-2Dry Red Chilli
  10. 1 tspMustard Seed
  11. 1 tspCumin Seed
  12. 1/2 tspAsafoetida
  13. 4 cupWater
  14. 2 tspOil
  15. 1/2 tspSambhar Masala
  16. 1 cupSev for garnishing
  17. Salt as per taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry Roast Rava in pan or microwave till aroma, till time in pan on medium flame give tadka with seeds, Asafoetida, then cook onion and garlic in it

    Add chilli, curry leaves, Daal and salt

    Now add dry chilli and tomato, sambhar masala and cook it 1 min

    Add chia seed and mix well.

    Add water and cover with lid till boiling

    Add semolina, mix carefully on slow flame, cover with lid, check it in 1 min till all water soaked by rava

    Remove lid and stir well, it’s ready to serve now

    Garnish it with coriander, sev or can serve with curd or curd coconut chutney
