Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash and cut watermelon into two halves horizontally. Remove flesh and separate from seeds and reserve it for making juice. Scrap the watermelon cover free from any flesh
- 2
Pat dry with a paper towel and place in freezer ready for pouring the prepared sorbet mixture
- 3
Blend the watermelon flesh into juice
- 4
Whisk the watermelon juice, condensed milk and salt and set aside
- 5
Whip the chilled whipping cream until soft peaks are formed. With a spatula, fold half of the whipping cream into the condensed milk mixture. Then pour the mixture into the remaining whipping cream and mix. Pour into the frozen melon cage and place in freezer.
- 6
Let it freeze overnight and remove from freezer. Allow it to thaw if it is too frozen then slice as slicing a melon and enjoy.

Yogurt Sorbet for the Summertime Yogurt Sorbet for the Summertime
Everyone ends up eating tons of iced desserts during summertime. I wanted to serve my family a dessert made with ingredients that I could feel good about. It's easier to mix if the container is about 1-1.5 cm deep. If it's too hard to mix, let it sit at room temperature for a while. It will soften and be just right. For 5 servings. Recipe by Asamato cookpad.japan -
