Boil soya nuggets in salt water till they are soft. Squeeze out excess water and fry lightly.Soak basmati rice for 20 minutes.

Heat oil and ghee in a pressure cooker.Sprinkle cumin seeds and half crushed whole garam masala.When they splutter,add chopped onion and fry lightly.Add chopped carrot.Add fried soya chunks and toss.Add rice and ginger paste.Also add pinch of turmeric,black pepper powder and salt to taste.Add 2 cups water and pressure cook 2 whistles.Wait 10 minutes before opening pressure.Garnish with chopped spring onion and coriander.Add slit green chillies and serve hot.
