Steps
- 1
First arranged all the ingredients at a place. Then heat pan and add little ghee, on low heat roast cashews till light brown. (We like to saute crunchy, but you can saute till pinkish in colour) Keep saide.
- 2
In the same pan add remaining ghee and on very low heat saute all whole spices for a min. Then add sliced onion, and cook on medium to low heat until light brown in colour. Transfer into bowl and let it cool down.
- 3
Take out half of whole spices and keep aside, other will be crushed for paste. Add socked cashews and add 100ml milk (or half part, just to make paste) and crush them into smooth puree.
- 4
Add this puree to the same pan and add sauted whole spices, grated cheese, remaining milk and sugar. Mix well and simmer for 5-7min.
- 5
At last add roasted cashews and mix well. Simmer for a while and serve hot with paratha or naan or missi roti or kulcha.
