Mash the bananas with a fork for easier mixing, then add the teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Add the sugar, ground cinnamon, and eggs. Mix well.

Sift the flour into the mixture to avoid lumps, then add the cup of milk. The batter should be neither too thick nor too runny.

Grease a 9-inch (24 cm) baking pan with butter and dust with a little flour to prevent sticking. Pour in the batter and add walnuts or raisins if desired. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 40 minutes.
