Ingredients

  1. 3sardine fish, cleaned
  2. as neededcoriander leaves to garnish
  3. as needed oil to shallow fry
  4. as neededsliced onion, tomatoes, lime & fresh chilies to serve
  5. Marination -
  6. 2 inch ginger
  7. 2-3garlic cloves
  8. 1small onion
  9. 1-2green chilies
  10. 1 cupcoriander stems
  11. 2 tbsp.fried peanuts
  12. 1 tsp.lime juice
  13. 1 tbsp.red chilli powder
  14. to tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Blend all the mentioned ingredients for the marinade. Generously rub it all over the fish pieces and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

    Heat 2 tbsp. of oil and shallow fry the sardines on both sides till done.

    Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve along with sliced onion, tomatoes, lime wedges and fresh chilies.
