Baked Chocolate Doughnuts

Ingredients

  1. For Donuts:-
  2. 180 gmflour
  3. 90 gmsugar
  4. 21 gmcocoa powder
  5. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  6. 1/2 tspbaking powder
  7. 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 1large egg
  9. 1 cupbuttermilk
  10. 50 gmoil
  11. 1 tspvanilla essence
  12. For chocolate frosting we need:-
  13. 42 gmbutter
  14. 170 gmchocolate chip
  15. 1 tbspcorn syrup

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven at 180°c

    Grease 2 standard size donuts pan and set aside

  3. 3

    In a medium bowl, Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt

  4. 4

    Add egg, buttermilk, oil and vanilla essence

  5. 5

    Whisk until combined and the batter should be thin

  6. 6

    Spoon batter into donut pan, filling 3/4

  7. 7

    Bake for about 8-10minutes. Now touch the donut and it should spring back

  8. 8

    Allow to cool for 10minutes by keeping aside

  9. 9

    Now take a heavy saucepan add butter and bring it to heat to melt the butter

  10. 10

    Now add cocolate chip and corn syrup. Stir continuously until melted and well mixed

  11. 11

    Once glaze is ready, dip the tops of donuts into the glaze

  12. 12

    Set aside on a wire cooling rack
