Ingredients

1 serving
  • 1/4 CupOrganic Rolled Oats
  • 3/4 CupsWater
  • 1/4 CupPlant Based Milk (I prefer Soy or Oat, sometimes Cashew)
  • 2 TbspDried Fruits : Preferably Organic (I usually use Sultanas or Rasians but do use Figs or Apricots)
  • 1 TbspNuts and or Seeds
  • 1/8-1/4 TspOrganic Tumeric
  • 1/8-1/4 TspPepper (this helps the make the tumeric more avalible to the body)
  • Fresh Fruit/s of Choice (Apples Peaches Pears Etc)
  • Sweetner to Taste (Optional)
  • Additional Plant milk to serve (Optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    In a medium pot add you oats and water and bring to boil over Medium High Heat

  2. 2

    Cook until it starts to thicken, remembering to stir to prevent sorching

  3. 3

    Add in Dried fruits and continue to cook until fruits are plump and rehydrated

  4. 4

    Now add your half fresh fruits and all of the tumeric and black pepper and Plant Milk of Choice and cook until thickend to desired texture

  5. 5

    Now add sweetner of choice (if chosesn to do so), give a final stir

  6. 6

    Now serve in your favourite bowl and top with the rest of your fresh fruits and add extra plant milk if desired and ENJOY ~~!
