Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup chopped methi, add little salt and keep aside for 10 mins
  2. 1onion
  3. 1 smallGinger
  4. to tastesalt
  5. as requiredbutter or ghee
  6. to tastesugar according
  7. as requiredfresh cream or malai
  8. fewcashew nuts
  9. 1/2 cupboiled peas
  10. fewGarlic pods
  11. 1 tbspJeera for grinding

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat butter or ghee in a pan

  2. 2

    Grind onion, cashew, ginger, garlic and jeera to fine paste and if required add water.

  3. 3

    Now add this paste to the heated butter.

  4. 4

    Roast till the butter oozes out from the mixture.

  5. 5

    Now add chopped methi leaves, boiled peas, salt, sugar to taste and fresh cream.

  6. 6

    Let it simmer in low flame for five to six minutes.

  7. 7

    Add pinch of garam masala and cover it for five minutes.
